US Virgin Islands have released their brand new home, away and third kits. The nation is known for being one of the lowest ranked countries in international football. Football fans all over the globe are highly impressed with the nation’s latest strips.
Manufactured by Danish sporting brand Hummel, the US Virgin Island home and away jerseys are light blue and yellow. The standout piece of both strips is the multi-colored chevron that runs throughout the chest of both kits. The third kit, which is primarily black, also includes the same colour scheme, which runs in a single vertical line down the front of the jersey. The very unique colourway and design is taken from the official madras of the territory. A madras is a colourful, patterned fabric originating in India and adopted by many Caribbean islands.
The partnership allows the US Virgin Islands to continue to help grow their footballing identity across the globe. The nation’s 2026 World Cup campaign came to an end in March, losing on penalties to longtime rivals the British Virgin Islands. The country will now put their focus into their CONCACAF Nations League fixtures.
