Seattle Sounders Release Commemorative 50th Anniversary Shirt
Seattle Sounders has unveiled its highly anticipated home shirt for the upcoming 2024 Major League Soccer Season. Designed by German sports manufacturing giants Adidas, the jersey pays homage to the club’s 50th anniversary.
Inspired by the classic pinstripe design worn during the clubs 1983 NASL season, this commemorative shirt beautifully blends tradition with modern flair.
Seattle Sounders fans will also notice a reimagined version of the club’s badge adorning the new jersey.
Hugh Weber, the club’s President of Business Operations, expressed his excitement about the release. “Celebrating our 50th anniversary – a milestone reflecting decades of determination and perseverance – while launching our refreshed brand identity – built to reflect the next 50 years for the franchise – along with a new state-of-the-art home in Renton creates a generational moment for the club.

As the 2024 MLS season nears kicks off, Seattle Sounders will face off against LAFC in what promises to be an special opener. Sounders fans will be hoping their team can win their first MLS Cup since 2019.
