Portland Hearts to Join Hummel in 2025

Portland Hearts

Portland Hearts of Pine have agreed to partner with Danish sporting manufacturer Hummel for the 2025 season. The club plans to play their first ever season in the 2025 USL League One.

Hummel has had a huge influence in the American game, manufacturing jerseys for USL clubs such as Forward Madison, Las Vegas Lights and Birmingham Legion.

Gabe Hoffman-Johnson, a former soccer player at Dartmouth College and a standout at nearby Falmouth High School, was announced as the club founder, with the ownership group including local real-estate developers Jonathan and Catherine Culley and NESN broadcaster Tom Caron, a native of Lewiston, Maine. The club is yet to announce their head coach for their inaugural campaign.

In September, the team announced that a League One-record 96% of its season ticket deposits had been purchased. The club’s jerseys will be released in the upcoming months.

In other news, Celtic & Adidas have launched their original retro collection.
