The recent Bundesliga champions Bayern München debuted their new home shirt last weekend in the match played versus FC Augsburg. The new jersey also arrives in time for the second league of the Champions League semifinal, in which Bayern must win against Barcelona for over 4 goals to qualify for the final.
Hoping that new shirt brings good luck (although the debut came with defeat), the Adidas design returns to the more common solid red leaving behind the blue stripes used in the 2014-15 season.
The details of this new kit also are red but in a darker tone. This can be seen in the rounded neck, the typical Adidas stripes in the sleeves and in the hem, which a diamond pattern that resembles the club crest with the initials FCB, standing for Fußball-Club Bayern.
The team and player names at the back and the sponsor and brand logo at the front are colored white giving a little contrast to the high presence of red.
