Club America are set to part-ways with Nike in order to join Adidas. The Mexican footballing giants are set to end their 25-year partnership with Nike, who have manufactured the club’s kits since 2000.
Adidas, who previously supplied Club America with their jerseys between 1994-2000 are eager to make a return to the club, who are recognised as one of the most historic and successful clubs in Mexican football. There is yet to be any official announcement or details in regards to contract length.
Last season was a successful one for the Mexican side, as they clinched back-to-back Liga MX championships as they beat rivals Cruz Azul 2-1 on aggregate in the 2024 Clausura final. Águilas will be hoping to win a historic three-in-a-row in the current campaign. The club have work to do though, as they currently sit 9th in the division.
