Brazil will release a re-issued version of their 1998 World Cup tracksuit. In collaboration with American sports manufacturer Nike, the Brazilian national team will soon drop a remake of the iconic tracksuit alongside their re-release of the 1998 jersey itself.
The tracksuit is primarily white with blue applications on the sleeves and neck of the jacket. Blue is the predominant colour of the track pants, completed with a white nike swoosh.
Another special touch to the tracksuit is the blue “Brasil” text that runs across the back of the track jacket.
Brazil finished runners-up at the 1998 FIFA World Cup, losing 3-0 to France in the final. Despite the re-issued jersey, Nike and the Brazilian national team’s relationship is not on the best of terms. As reported last month, Brazil is set to launch a tender for a new manufacturer.
What do you think of Brazil’s re-issued tracksuit and do you think La Seleção will move on from Nike in the coming years?
