Aberdeen 2016/17 Away Kit Unveiled
Scottish Premiership runners-up, Aberdeen, have unveiled their 2016/17 away kit. Manager, Derek McInnes, will be hoping for a better Europa League campaign than last season when The Dons disappointingly lost 3 – 2 on aggregate to Khazak side, FC Kiarat, in the third qualifying round.
This time, their path may be tougher with the draw already throwing up the prospect of meeting West Ham or Borussia Dortmund in the qualifying rounds.
Aberdeen 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the away kit which Aberdeen will don during the 2016/17 season.
The shirt is two-tone black, with the right half of the shirt’s front and the sleeves a darker shade than the left half. Adidas’ design template includes fiery orange trim. The crew-necked collar is jet black and fields orange piping on either side leading to the trademark Three Stripes also in orange.
Saltire Energy, the primary shirt sponsors, have their logo in orange on the front of the shirt with the Adidas mark on the right breast, opposite the club crest on the left.
The kit is completed by black shorts and socks. On the right thigh of the shorts sits the club crest with three stripes down either leg.
The socks have a solid orange turnover with three shortened stripes leading to the top.
It’s a stylish look with striking contrasts between the two shades of black and the orange. Aberdeen and Adidas have done well with this contemporary template.
