Now That You’ve Surely Seen Their Home and Away Kits, Here’s Hong Kong’s Third Kit.
Here at UK Soccer Shop, we love a number of things. We love it when a seemingly small team releases an excellent kit, we love when that kit is eye-catching, and furthermore, we love a bright orange kit. Those things can all be found right here with Hong Kong’s latest third kit. The above statement requires you to have seen the home and away kits. You can see them right here. No worries if you haven’t. Below is a summary of who they are, and why we should be caring about their latest kit releases. It has been taken from both the home and away kit write ups:
“Hong Kong, according to Wikipedia is an autonomous territory and former English colony. The skyline is riddled with skyscrapers and it’s a famous shopping destination, especially for those in the market for tailoring. The most common question with regards to the territory, on Google is, ‘is Hong Kong a country? Apparently, its proper name is Hong Kong, Special Administrative Region, China. Their flag is a white, five-petalled Hong Kong orchid tree flower on a red background.”
The home kit was a gorgeous, deep red. It had subtle lines running horizontally across which gave it positive character. The away one also featured these lines, however the jersey was white. This third kit, from the promotional photographs that we’ve seen, comes in three forms. It is a filled jersey – meaning no pattern, a zig-zagged lighter pattern on a darker background, and lines that are similar to those on the home and away kits.
Whether this variation is because Nike hasn’t decided yet, or whether they’ve created all three, we’re unsure. Eitherway, the deep red of Hong Kong’s crest and the Nike Swoosh both stand out on this third kit canvas.
