Reading FC Release Their 2018/19 Home Kit by Puma
Reading Reveal Their Simple, Effective Home Kit. What do You Think?
So far today, this author has resisted the urge to speak about Ipswich Town too much. It was an easy task when talking about Southampton in the Premier League or Al Ahli in the Saudi Pro League, but now we’re talking about Reading FC. Before we do talk about the Biscuitmen, let’s very briefly speak about the Tractor Boys. Ipswich Town still haven’t won a game this season. They took on a League One manager who brought an almost entirely fresh team with him and now they’re at the bottom of the Championship. While the season has only just started, it’s a nervous time to be an Ipswich Town fan. Furthermore, currently sat in 22nd place, it’s also a slightly worrying time to be a Reading FC. fan. To take our collective minds off the thought of potential relegation, let’s take a look at Reading’s latest home kit.
We originally missed the release because our eyes were too glued to the television. The World Cup was on and we didn’t want to miss a second of it. Now that the 2018/19 EFL campaign is under way, let’s bring the kit to you now.
Reading’s home jersey is designed by Puma. Running horizontally across the chest are a number of blue and white, thick stripes. On top of the stripes which run around to the back of the jersey sits the club’s crest, Puma’s logo, and Reading’s main sponsor – Carabao energy drink.
The kit features Puma’s cutting edge, breathable technology. It allows players to keep cool, calm, and collected under even the most intense pressure. The sleeves are each white with a blue contrast running around the bottom. It’s a positive, complete kit design and one that we love. Our fingers are collectively crossed for both Reading FC. and Ipswich Town this season.
