Bright and Simple. Belarus’ Home Kit.
Last week, while the UK was coming to terms with the fact that Winter is certainly on its way, we showed you Belarus’ away kit. It was a strange kit to suddenly launch upon you, but when it was pushed across our desk, we just couldn’t say no. The country is run by dictator Alexander Lukashenko and nearly half of Belarusian territory is made up of forests. Their population might have been declining in recent years, but their national football team is still desperate to compete. To help them do so, the club has teamed up with Macron to craft a home kit that is bright, simple, and features a couple of subtle, excellent features.
When we showed you the away kit, we thought it was good. The jersey was red and had a number of excellent design qualities. But what does the home kit have? Is it even better? In our opinion, yes.
The Belarusian jersey is white. It acts as the perfect blank canvas for Belarus’ interesting crest and also allows Macron’s logo to stand out prominently.
Both the simple neckline and the bottom of each sleeve features a half green, half red pattern which matches the color scheme of the national flag. While the country’s crest and the color scheme is excellent, it is the pattern running under the arms that really makes the kit special. On the left-hand side of Belarus’ flag is a red and white, crochet-looking pattern. This pattern could be seen on the country’s away jersey and it features here on their home top too. It adds necessary character and runs all the way to the bottom of the jersey. Furthermore, a red section links up with the pattern at the bottom.
Belarus’ home kit has an abundance of character. What do you think?
