Andorra Reveal Their Bright Blue 2018/19 Away Kit by Macron
Andorra, they’re that piece of land that sits between France and Spain. Perhaps due to having less than 80,000 inhabitants, their football isn’t up to too much. Currently ranked 188th in the world, we at UK Soccer Shop spotted their latest home kit and shouted “Yes! We want to take a look.” So yesterday we did just that. Today is a new day. We’re building towards the glorious weekend and want to bring you Andorra’s away kit. Much like their home kit, the away jersey is bursting with colour and Macron’s stylish flair.
Before we take a look at the kit, let’s explore their previous results of 2018 and put them into some sort of perspective. On the 18th August, Andorra played a match against UAE. That’s right, the United Arab Emirates. What was the score in this exciting match up? 0-0. It ended in a goalless draw. Before this result, Andorra had a couple of matches postponed. Furthermore, a game against Equatorial Guinea was fully cancelled. Is that the end of the results? No. Andorra gained a 1-0 victory against the mighty Lichtenstein. For those of you who might not know, Lichtenstein is currently ranked 180th in the world. Finally, we have to mention the 4-0 defeat to Latvia.
Now onto the kit. Yesterday we outlined what makes a great kit. We tend to do it in almost every article. Here at UK Soccer Shop, we think a great kit should be simple, bright, and well-designed. That’s exactly what we can see here.
The away jersey is bright blue. Furthermore, running horizontally are a number of very thin, slightly darker lines. These lines give character to the jersey. The front of the neckline features yellow and red. These three colours (blue, red, and yellow) make up Andorra’s crest and compliment each other nicely. The sleeves are tapered with elasticated blue and on the nape are the letters “FAF.”
