Manchester United Reveal Their Away Kit for the 2018/19 Season
Manchester United are currently in turmoil. Not terrifying, relegation turmoil. That won’t be for another eight months. Only kidding, it’s only seven.
Of course they won’t be relegated, however their last few results have been a little worrisome. The scores include a 3-2 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion. Furthermore, after their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham, Mourinho stormed out of his press conference after noting that he’d won the Premier League Three times. Some fans want him out, others feel a little more patient. We at UK Soccer Shop, believe it or not, are impartial. We simply love drama and the 2018/19 season looks set to deliver it. We’ve brought you the club’s commemorative 1968 kit, as well as their third one. Now it’s probably best to fill in those gaps.
Here’s Manchester United’s away kit.
The colouring is baby pink. It’s a really bright, eye-catching kit and has so far proven popular with fans. However, some seem to have an allergic reaction to the colour pink, however most see it as a carefully-considered, effective away kit.
On top of this pink background sits the club’s crest, Adidas’ logo, and Manchester United’s main sponsor: Chevrolet. The colouring is attributed to Manchester’s local paper. Now closed down, the Football Pink was dedicated to the local excitement of football. It’s a classy move by Manchester United and Adidas.
Across the shoulders are Adidas’ trademark three stripes. Furthermore, they run from the top of the sleeves up to the simple neckline. The bottom of the sleeves are also tapered with a slightly darker pink, adding character and depth to this excellent kit.
The contrast of the kit comes from the black that’s seen on Manchester United’s badge and Adidas’ logo.
Whether Manchester United can drag themselves out of this slump that they’ve found themselves in, we’ll have to wait and see. This away kit is excellent and we can’t wait to see it over the course of the season.
