Norwich City Reveal Their 2018/19 Third Kit by Errea
It’s no secret that this author is an Ipswich Town supporter. Despite being born in Norwich, he’ll continue to support the Tractor Boys indefinitely. However, the real loyal fans can be seen on match day at Portman Road with ITFC tattooed anywhere they can find. They’re the true fans – wanting to be branded forever. This author is more of an Ed Sheeran – someone who will happily wear an Ipswich Town top at the occasional game, but won’t have a picture of Sir Bobby Robson inked across his chest.
Despite supporting Ipswich Town, when writing about Norwich’s home kit, this author actually quite liked it. Against all that is true and proper, it was actually rather nice. The pattern was simple, the design was uncluttered, and everything seemed to fit in with the concept quite well.
We then brought you Norwich’s away kit, another excellent design. Not quite so slick as the home kit but still bringing all the relevant flair that Errea are able to pull off.
Now we come to the third kit. And we must say, it too is a lovely kit, despite being more than a little messy.
Lime green is the colouring and across the front is a darker green cross. The darker green comes in different shades and the pattern seems to be more than a little random. The reason why we mentioned a cluttered look is because the club’s crest, sponsor and Errea’s logo all feature on top of this darker green colouring. To play devil’s advocate, the darker pattern does make each emblem stand out.
Both the neckline and the bottom of the sleeves has darker tapering which completes the look nicely.
We at UK Soccer Shop like all three of Norwich’s football kits for the 2018/19 season. While this author can’t wish the club good luck, we do look forward to seeing how well they do.
