German Bundesliga side, Werder Bremen, released their 2016/17 home kit earlier in the summer. For the first time in their history, they will wear green and white stripes; previously, the home shirt was full green.
Now it’s the turn of the away kit to make it’s entrance:
Werder boss Viktor Skrypnyk has been busy this transfer window with Max Kruse arriving from Wolfsburg this week. That makes the total number of signings eight so far with another month of the transfer window remaining.
Bremen will host Chelsea on 7th August at the Weserstadion after the original match against Lazio was postponed due to fears over crowd trouble. Werder have confirmed that tickets for the Lazio fixture will be valid for Chelsea’s visit.
Werder Bremen 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the away kit which Werder Bremen will wear for the 2016/17 season:
Sponsored by Wiesenhof for the fourth consecutive season, the kit is manufactured by Nike, the club’s preferred supplier since 2009.
All blue, the shirt is a clean design based around the French Euro 2016 shirt. A shoulder panel of the same blue sits under a red band on the collar.
The shorts are blue with the kit completed by red socks.
