Union Omaha Release Special Glow-In-The-Dark Jersey
Union Omaha, who play in the USL League One have come together with Danish kit manufacturer Hummel to release a special glow-in-the-dark jersey.
The predominantly black jersey has an aluminous yellow badge and accents throughout the strip. Unionβs glow-in-the-dark badge is the great horned owl, a species of owl native to Nebraska, which is the prominent focal point of the club’s crest. The single star on top of the crest represents the club’s USL League One title from 2021.
Hummel are continuing to make major waves in the football jersey space and this incredibly unique glow-in-the-dark shirt is just another stunning example of their creativity and innovativeness to stand out from the crowd.
Union Omaha finished top of the USL League One table last season, but fell short of the title due to losing at the semi-final stage of the leagues play-off system. The Owls will be hopeful that this year they can go a step further and win their second ever league title.
Union kick off their season on March 17 against Central Valley Fuego.
