Tottenham Hotspur Away & Third Kits Revealed
Tottenham Hotspur have been busy this morning. Their Under Armour home kit safely delivered, the club revealed the designs for their away and second kit.
Spurs supporters could be forgiven for doing a double-take when they look at the kit; it’s bears a very close resemblance to Arsenal’s soon-to-be-released third kit! At next season’s north London derby, they may yet be serenaded by a chant of “It’s just like watching Arsenal!“…
Tottenham Hotspur 2016/17 Away Kit
This then, is the 2016/17 Spurs away kit.
Predominantly navy blue, the kit features strong golden trim. Club crest, sponsors logo and Under Armour’s insignia all stand out on the front of the clean designed shirt.
The collar, round-necked, is a solid golden band whilst two thick and one thin gold hoop sit on the arms just above the cuff. The back of the shirt is plain blue.
Finished off with blue shorts and gold trim, along with blue socks, the kit is a very straightforward design.
Tottenham Hotspur Third Kit 2016/17
If there is a colour clash, Tottenham will wear this third kit next season.
The third strip is once again a relatively uncomplicated design, this time using a gold colour scheme. Whilst the back of the shirt is clean, the front features navy blue pinstripes. Separating the body and the rest of the shirt, there is blue piping below the shoulders.
The cuffs and rounded v-neck collar, are both navy blue.
Gold shorts, with blue trim on the side and bottom of each thigh, along with gold socks featuring blue trim, complete the kit.
Tottenham Hotspur 2016/17 Away Goalkeeper Shirt
This will be the goalkeeper’s shirt to be worn with the blue away and gold third kits.
Under Armour strayed perilously close to an Arsenal red but instead have given Hugo Lloris an orange kit to wear on Spurs travels. It’s the same design template as the home kit, with the navy trim standing out more against the bright background.
These complete Tottenham’s kit range for next season with the question being can Nike improve on them if they take over from 2017/18 as the rumour mill has it?
