The 2005/06 season was a forgettable campaign for Tottenham to say the least. Spurs suffered food poisoning which cost them a Champions League spot and also lost to Grimsby Town in the League Cup.

Despite the bad memories attached to that season, Kappa created a lovely jersey for the Lilywhites. A white torso combined with the dark navy sleeves gave this shirt a very sleek look.

Up next is the Spurs away shirt that was worn between the years 1988 to 1991. Manufactured by Danish company Hummel, this yellow away kit was certainly unique. The brightness and the use of chevrons certainly made it stand out from the crowd.

Spurs even won a trophy during the years this strip was used when they lifted the 1991 FA Cup final, beating Nottingham Forest 2-1 after extra-time.

Tottenham

Arguably one of the most iconic Tottenham kits, their home jersey worn between 1983 to 1985 is one that is full of nostalgia for multiple reasons.

The jersey was manufactured by Le Coq Sportif, who went bold and gave Tottenham a striped jersey. A colourway of white and very light grey was certainly a new style for Spurs fans. This was also the first Tottenham jersey that had the famous “Holsten” sponsor.

Spurs won the 1984 UEFA Cup while sporting this iconic jersey, beating Belgian side Anderlecht on penalties after two legs.

Away shirt 1996/97

The 1996/97 season was certainly bleak from a footballing perspective for Tottenham fans. Under the management of Gerry Francis, Spurs finished 10th in the league and failed to make an impact in the cups.

Teddy Sheringham finished the season as the club’s top goalscorer, only managing eight goals in all competitions.

The only consolation fans can take from that season is at least they got a stunning away jersey out of it. Produced by Pony, this yellow and navy blue colour combination was simply breathtaking.

Home shirt 1985-87

Hummel takes the top spot on this list with their stunning Spurs home jersey worn between 1985-87. The chevrons made another return, this time throughout the entire kit.

Footballing legend Diego Maradona even wore this iconic kit before during Ossie Ardiles’ testimonial match.

This jersey is a must buy for Tottenham fans all over the globe.
