Sunderland set to Announce partnership with Hummel for 2024/25

It has been revealed that English Championship club Sunderland is set to part ways with Nike at the conclusion of the current season and embrace a new collaboration with Danish kit suppliers, Hummel, starting the 2024/25 season. This marks the end of a four-year partnership between Sunderland and Nike.

The impending switch to Hummel holds historical significance, as the Danish brand previously supplied Sunderland’s kits from 1988 to 1994. While the official announcement of the deal is yet to be announced, leaked images of Sunderland’s jersey for the next season have already surfaced online.

The design for the upcoming season’s jersey draws inspiration from the Sunderland and Hummel jersey worn during the period between 1988 and 1991.

Despite the dream of promotion to the Premier League next season, Sunderland currently finds itself in a challenging position in the Championship, holding a mid-table position. The club has undergone managerial changes, parting ways with Tony Mowbray and bringing in Michael Beale. However, Beale faces mounting pressure from Sunderland fans due to a series of disappointing results since taking charge.

As Sunderland looks ahead to the 2024/25 season with Hummel, fans eagerly await the official unveiling of the new kit
