Sunderland have released their brand new third kit for the 2024/25 season. The new jersey pays tribute to the Black Cats’ unique history.
Manufactured by Danish sporting brand Hummel, the Sunderland 2024/25 shirt is predominantly sky blue with white and navy applications throughout.
The alternate match day shirt pays homage to the iconic mining wheel from the club’s current crest as a repeating mosaic pattern, with a deep blue design neatly complemented by a dusty blue hue. Navy chevrons against a striking white trim complete the design. The jersey is a tribute to the rich mining heritage of Sunderland.
It has been a successful summer for Hummel and Sunderland, with fans of the club delighted with the home, away and third kit releases. The 2023/24 campaign was a difficult one for the Black Cat’s who failed to qualify for the play-off positions of the Championship.
Fans of the club will be dreaming of a 2024/25 season that ends with promotion back to the Premier League.
