Tottenham are on the verge of signing a sponsorship deal with sportswear giants Nike in a move that could triple their current deal with Under Armour according to the Daily Mail.
Currently Under Armour supply Spurs kits and pay the White Hart lane outfit £10million per year.
However Nike are looking to blow this current deal out the water by offering spurs a whopping £30million per year that would see the Tottenham join teams such as Man City, Monaco and Inter Milan.
While this deal pales into comparison with Manchester United’s new world record deal with Adidas this is certianly a big step up in sponsorship for Spurs if the partnership is made.
It shows Spurs growing presense on the world football stage, the team are currently in a title fight at the top of the league and have a very real chance of winning.
The Under Armour deal has another season to run after the end of this campaign so the Nike deal would come into play in 18/19 season at the earliest.
