Sporting Braga 2017/18 Gunner Raise Eyebrows

Portuguese club Sporting Braga make no secret of the influence of Arsenal FC in their history.


Until 1921, the club wore green and white stripes. Following a visit of their coach Jozef Szabo to Highbury, that changed to red shirts and white shorts. Braga even renamed their youth side to Arsenal do Braga. And when Arsenal adopted white sleeves, so too did the Portuguese..

If Puma were insistent on giving Arsenal a polo-style shirt, this is the design they needed to adopt.


The shirt is stylish, with clean lines. White sleeves contrast delightfully with the red body and cuffs. Finishing the shirt is a white collar.
