Sokito: Ola Aina and Trevor Chalobah Invest in Sustainable Boot

Sokito

Sokito have two new investors in Premier League footballers Ola Aina and Trevor Chalobah. The Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace defenders have invested £1.1 million into the sustainable boot brand.

Sokito gained traction last year at the Africa Cup of Nations with Nigeria captain William Troost-Ekong debuting the boots during the tournament. Founded by Jake Hardy, Sokito’s aim is to bring environmentally friendly football boots into mainstream football. Troost-Ekong’s relationship with Sokito started when he was playing at Turkish club Bursaspor, where teammate John Bostock introduced the Nigerian international to Hardy.

As the brand continues to gain support from professional players, the future is looking promising for the sustainable boot space. With climate change being an issue that is continuing to grow daily, having two Premier League footballers help spread the word of how being sustainable in daily life can make a difference is hugely promising.

In other news, Bologna have released their 2024/25 third kit.
