Corsican club, SC Bastia, have released their 2016/17 home kit. The Ligue Un side finished in a comfortable tenth place last season and will be hoping to challenge for the Europa League places in 2016/17.
SC Bastia 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the SC Bastia home kit for the 2016/17 season.
This is the fifth kit produced by Italian sportswear manufacturer, Kappa. The club entered into an agreement with the kitmaker in 2011/12 and have been happy with the designs ever since. There’s little reason to believe this will change with next season’s kit.
Reminiscent of the Sampdoria kit of 1991/92, the shirt is, as ever, predominantly blue. The crew-neck collar is the same shade of royal blue with thick white cuffs. Across the chest, are two thick white stripes, separated by a thin black vertical stripe. In the centre of the white bands sits a recreation of the old club badge, used during the 1970s.
Between the collar and top white stripe sits the club crest whilst primary shirt sponsor, Oscar, has a visually strong presence with their white logo underneath the lower of the two white stripes.
The Kappa logos appear on each shoulder with their name dominating the collar panels.
The kit was designed with supporter influence and has been well-received beyond the borders of French football.
