RKC Waalwijk release Carnival Kit
RKC Waalwijk, an Eredivisie side have released their 2023/24 carnival kit. The colourful red, yellow and blue jersey pays tribute to the annual carnival held in the town of Waalwijk.
For five consecutive years, RKC Waalwijk has upheld the tradition since their promotion in 2019 of hosting a home match on the Friday preceding Carnival, wearing a special jersey for the occasion. This year, they will continue this tradition as they face off against NEC on Friday, February 9th.
RKC will be hoping for a strong second half of the season as they currently sit in the relegation play-off position in the Eredivisie, having won only four games so far in this campaign.
Stanno, RKC’s kit manufacturer only works with a few clubs such as Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles and Belgiums OH Leuven, which makes their annual creation of the carnival kit all that more impressive. The carnival jersey is a favourite amongst the football shirt collecting community and there is no doubt that this year’s edition will have many suitors.
