In a nostalgic celebration of their historic 1984 Copa de la Liga (League Cup) victory, Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, currently competing in Spain’s Segunda División, has introduced a stunning “Urban Style” retro kit collection.

The home shirt features the iconic white and violet stripes reminiscent of Real Valladolid’s classic 1984 design, decorated with the club emblem and a golden Kappa logo which repeats from collar to cuff, showcasing Kappa’s renowned “Omini” branding. To honour this achievement, the 40th-anniversary version also includes a small special detail on the upper back of the collar.

Additionally, the away shirt, in deep violet/purple, reflects the club identity with Kappa Omini logo repeating on the long sleeves. The design is also enhanced with Kappa’s Hydro-Way Protection technology. Lastly, it features a big graphic with a lighter tone of purple, that is inspired by the fog around the club’s stadium, José Zorrilla.

This drop pays tribute to the club’s remarkable League Cup accomplishment, providing fans with a stylish opportunity to revisit those memorable days. The shirts are released without sponsors, emphasizing their ‘lifestyle’ nature, and are not intended for official match use. Finally, as Real Valladolid celebrates their history with the release of these nostalgic retro kits, the club is currently fuelled by the aspiration to reclaim their position in La Liga 1, currently holding a strong 2nd place in the second division, just 2 points behind Leganes.
