Pogba Wears Custom Adidas Viper Boots
Adidas would have been hoping for a better outcome in yesterday’s high-profile Manchester derby at Old Trafford. Ahead of kick-off, the German sportswear manufacturer began their social media campaign to raise the profile of their star player in the fixture.

The world’s most expensive footballer, Paul Pogba, unveiled his custom-made PureControl boots from the recently released Viper Pack. The ‘Manchester United’ Paul Pogba version of the Ace PureControl laceless footwear was specially created to promote the silo.
Things didn’t go to plan with City, whose kit is manufactured by Adidas’ fierce rivals Nike, won 2 – 1 to go three points clear at the top of the Premier League. Some PR points will be gained in the result, particularly with the high-profile promotion of the customised boots from the AceControl silo.
Previously favouring the Solar Yellow Ace PureControl boots, Pogba was the first of Adidas’ professionals to wear the Viper Pack in a match.
The customised Viper Pack boot comes with a red splash – featuring the logo “POGBACK” for the occasion – and heel tag, along with similarly coloured tag at the top of the laceless sock. Beyond this, the boot is a ‘standard’ Viper Pack of the Ace PureControl boot.
