Plymouth Argyle 2016-17 Kit Launched
The Home Park faithful may not all be happy with the home kit recently unveiled by Plymouth Argyle, but the away kit launched by the Pilgrims yesterday is surely going to keep them happy.
England’s most southerly and westerly ground may not see this kit but having recently lost the play-off final, Argyle will be cutting a stylish swathe through Sky Bet Football League Two as they seek automatic promotion in 2016/17.
Plymouth Argyle 2016/17 Away Kit
This is the away kit which Plymouth Argyle will wear during the 2016/17 season.
Puma have taken the template for Plymouth’s away kit from the 1960s and brought it up to date with a classic look.
The shirt, shorts and socks all have a white base colour with green providing the trim. Puma has left out the thin black vertical stripes from that old kit, preferring instead to have an enlarged green band which will house the sponsor’s logo.
Above the band sites the Puma logo in black on the right breast with the club badge opposite on the left, resplendent with its’ green background.
From white crew neck collar emerges green shoulder bands which travel the length of each sleeve. On the shoulder is a white puma logo.
The shorts have logos and crests on each thigh with a green band down the side of each leg. The socks are white with green turnover.
Plymouth Argyle have a scored a winner with this design. The green may not please everyone but the template and finish are exceptional. Let’s hope they find the away games plain sailing.
