The strip pays homage to the Ligue 1 clubs history, with football shirt collectors online impressed with the jersey.
Manufactured by French sporting brand Le Coq Sportif, the OGC Nice 120th anniversary kit is predominantly dark blue with black applications on the collar and sleeve cuffs of the shirt.
Small black stripes are also included throughout the entirety of the strip. Gold applications have also been implemented on the badge, Le Coq Sportif logo and the INEOS front of shirt sponsor, giving the strip a classic look.
The kit pays homage to the club’s roots. When it was founded in July 1904, the Gymnaste Club de Nice donned blue and black as its colours. It was not until September 1919 that red and black were adopted.
OGC Nice have started the season well and are currently sat in sixth place in Ligue 1. The club also had an impressive 8-0 victory over St-Etienne last week.
In other news, Udinese have launched their 2024/25 third shirt.
