Completing the release of kits from the trio of clubs relegated from the Premier League, Norwich City have revealed their 2016/17 home kit.
The Canaries are ready for life in the Football League Sky Bet Championship and are among the favourites for promotion. Manager Alex Neill is looking to strengthen his squad, as well as hang onto his international stars such as Wes Hoolahan who was an integral member of the Republic of Ireland squad which performed so valiantly at this summer’s European Championships.
Norwich City 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the home kit Norwich City players will wear during the 2016/17 season.
It’s the familiar yellow and green kit we expect the Canaries to wear.
The shirt body is yellow with green trim. The collar is a rounded y-shape with a half collar at the back. In green, it links with a thin green shoulder stripe. The sleeve cuffs are similarly coloured whilst there is a green stripe down each side of the body.
The shorts are green with yellow bands at the bottom of each leg. The socks are yellow with a green turnover and patch on the back of the leg. The Errea logo and “NCFC” motif feature on the front of the shin.
Norwich City 2016/17 Home Goalkeeper Kit
This is the Norwich City goalkeeper’s kit for home games during the 2016/17 season.
All black, the goalkeeper’s kit features minimal trim and pattern. A similar half-collar as the outfield players kit is in yellow with the word “YELLOWS” printed on the back of the neckline.
The shorts are plain black as are the socks, although these feature a thick yellow turnover and patch on the back of the calf. In both cases, the club and manufacturer insignia are printed in yellow.
It’s a striking pair of kits. The question of the lips of the denizens of Carrow Road is whether it’s enough to inspire the squad to promotion?
