With Cristiano Ronaldo spearheading the campaign, today saw the launch of the Nike Spark Brilliance collection with the all-new Mercurial boot leading the way
Nike Spark Brilliance Mercurial
Nike claim that the new Mercurial comes with one aim: to be the fastest football boot ever designed. With a soleplate that is 40% lighter than before and an anatomical footplate that follows the natural contours of your foot, this is certainly the most comfortable boot you will wear.
Nike invested in the science of boot design and tested different layouts and stud types, before settling on the traction pattern which works best for the quickest players on the pitch.
Nike Spark Brilliance Hypervenom II
Nike Spark Brilliance Hypervenom II sees the boot take on a Hypervenom I silohuette to break the boots in quicker.
Max Blau, Nike Football Footwear VP observed, “We provide new boots to our professional players so frequently that we shifted to the Hypervenom I material to ease the break-in period. We want all players to have what the best players in the world are wearing, so we are bringing the Hypervenom I upper back.”
Completing the collection will be the Magista and Tiempo boots coming in vivid colourways with the Volt hue scheme in place.
