Nike and the United States of America national team will reissue the 1999 Women’s World Cup jersey. This drop will come along with Nike and Brazil’s 1998 remake range.
The jersey was predominantly white with navy and red applications on the sleeves and collar. Despite the re-release, the jersey will not be worn by any USA side in upcoming fixtures.
The 1999 FIFA Women’s World Cup was hosted and won by the United States. The USA defeated China in a penalty shoot-out, winning their second ever World Cup title at the time. US legends such as Mia Hamm and Brandi Chastian were a part of the squad at the time.
