Nigeria Release 2024 Home and Away Jerseys
Nigeria have dropped their 2024 home and away jerseys. The new jerseys have certainly divided opinion amongst football fans all over the world.
Nike and Nigeria have joined forces once again to create two unique jerseys. Ever since the 2018 FIFA World Cup, football jersey fanatics have always welcomed Nigeria and Nike’s unique and stunning jerseys.
The Nigeria home jersey for 2024 has caused a major split in opinion though. The shirt is prodomenitly white with green accents. Much of the controversy surrounding the shirt is that instead of a badge, Nike have opted to include the word “Naija”, which is a term that means all things Nigerian.
The jersey is quite reminiscent of Puma’s 2021/22 third kits, which famously caused major backlash from football fans. Many Nigerian’s will also recognise this style from their 1996 strip which will bring fans great nostalgia.
Nigeria’s away jersey on the other hand is another classic. A mainly black jersey with stunning green accents throughout, the shirt is inspired by the famous Nigerian rainforest.
Nigeria will wear their jerseys in 2024 international fixtures.
