Newcastle United 2016/17 Home Kit
This is the home kit Newcastle United will wear for the 2016/17 season.
The famous black and white stripes return, evenly spaced around the front and back of the shirt. Puma, kit manufacturers since 2010, has resisted the temptation to insert patterns into the design.
The trim on the kit is gold. The collar is black with a gold line close to the edge of the wings, leading into a gold v-neck. The cuffs on the sleeve are a thin gold band whilst on the shoulder there is a gold Puma.
The shorts are black with a white stripe down the side whilst the white socks feature two thick black hoops around the upper and mid- shin.
Newcastle United 2016/17 Home Goalkeeper Kit
This is the kit which new signing Matz Sels will wear.
It’s based on the current Puma template, featuring coloured bars down the outside of the sleeves. The base colour is a traditional goalkeeper’s green. The dominant block across the shoulder and upper arm is black, followed by sky blue, pink and yellow blocks of varying sizes, with another black block on the forearm.
The shorts and socks will be green.
It’s a traditional kit from Puma, retaining the key elements of the club’s history and giving them a freshen up.
