LA Galaxy have had their brand new 2024 third kit leaked online. Thanks to @opaleak, we can see the first exclusive images of the MLS giants latest release.
LA Galaxy 2024 Third Kit Details
Manufactured by Adidas, the LA Galaxy 2024 third kit is a half dark green half black colour way. Red applications included on the collar, sleeves, cuffs and the Adidas logo. The jersey is heavily inspired by the club’s 1996 strip. The most recognisable part of the jersey is the use of the old school Galaxy badge. Many fans will enjoy the nostalgic feel to this brand new third shirt.
LA Galaxy are one of the most successful teams in Major League Soccer history. Founded in 1994, the Galaxy have won a record 5 MLS Cup titles, including three in the early 2000s with stars like Cobi Jones, Mauricio Cienfuegos, and Carlos Ruiz. The team reached its peak in the late 2000s and early 2010s. The Galaxy signed global superstars like David Beckham, Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane during this period.
This star-studded lineup helped the Galaxy win 3 more MLS Cups between 2011-2014, solidifying their status as the league’s premier franchise. Although they have not won an MLS Cup since 2014, the Galaxy remain one of the most popular and recognisable clubs in American soccer. The rise of city rivals LAFC has seen the club struggle to be the outstanding force they previously were. Despite stars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Douglas Costa and Riqui Puig playing for the club in recent years, the club have failed to make an impact in the play-offs.
The LA Galaxy 2024 Adidas third shirt is set to be launched in August 2024.
