Greece Reveal 2024/25 Home & Away Jerseys
Greece have released their brand new home and away jersey for the 2024/25 international fixtures. Manufactured and designed by Nike, the brand new Greek strips have a modern style but also pay tribute to the national team’s previous success.
The Greece home shirt is primarily white with blue applications throughout the strip. A beautiful graphic has been included throughout the shirt which represents Nike of Samothrace, a renowned Hellenistic sculpture. This sculpture is also one of the main inspirations behind Nike’s iconic swoosh logo. On the bottom left of the shirt is a patch that celebrates the 20th anniversary of Greece’s famous Euro 2004 victory. Against all odds, Greece managed to beat Portugal 1-0 in the final of Euro 2004 to lift the iconic trophy.
The away jersey is predominantly dark blue with white and silver annotations included throughout the shirt. A grey Nike logo is included on the shirt rather than the expected white.
Greece failed to qualify for Euro 2024 after losing to Georgia in the play-offs via penalty shoot-out. Gus Poyet is currently the manager of the Euro 2004 champions, but it is yet to be seen if he will continue his role beyond the summer.
