Germany vs England – Shirt Wars
Germany and England square off today in Berlin.
Both teams will be looking to get warmed up for this summer’s Euro 2016 in France. As always it will be a competitive tie between the two and both will be sporting brand new kits. We take a look at both teams newly designed shirts and how they match up.
Muller and co will get to sport their brand new Germany Home Euro Shirt against England today. The shirt itself is inspired by classic Germany shirts, a clean white design although the new positioning of the iconic Adidas stripes make the shirt look even better.
The simple design with the straight forward black crew neck collar typifies the German style.
They will certainly look the part against England tonight and will fancy their chances.
England will get to sport their brand new away shirt that was unveiled two weeks ago.
Based on the same Nike template as many other Euro 2016 kits the England Away Euro Shirt has two tones of red with blue piping around the edges. The deep red makes a perfect background for the classic Nike swoosh and England logo to pop out and be instantly noticed.
The dark red stripe pattern goes through the sleeves, upper back and top of the simple v-neck collar.
They will hope to give this kit a winning start and what a start it would be if they managed to beat the World Champions.
