Germany have released their home and away jerseys for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament this summer. Manufactured by Adidas, the home jersey is predominantly white with accents of black and gold on the sleeves and the sides of the shirt.
The away kit is a unique pink colour with purple tones within the shirt. Germany will wear the home and away jersey in upcoming friendlies against France and the Netherlands.
Bayer Leverkusen and German national team star Florian Wirtz gave his thoughts on the jerseys saying: “The home jersey is classic with its black, red and gold shoulders and white look – it’s a typical Germany jersey for me. I find the away jersey very cool! It’s something different and really extraordinary. We are looking forward to a European championship at home and want to perform well in both jerseys.”
Germany are the hosts of the 2024 European Championships, so it is unlikely that we will see them wear their away shirt at the competition unless they advance from the group stages. The hosts group consists of Scotland, Switzerland and Hungary. Germany have failed to impress at the international stage since winning the 2014 FIFA World Cup and will hope this summer their fortunes can be turned around.
