England to Modify Jersey to Raise Awareness for Dementia.

England

England will play the second-half of their friendly with Belgium without name sets on the back of their jerseys. This discussion was made in order to help raise awareness for dementia and memory loss.

The English national team will join forces with Alzheimer’s Society to help raise awareness of the disease and encourage the public to lookout for symptoms.

England will wear their brand new away jersey against Belgium at Wembley, as both teams prepare for the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament this summer.

Dementia and Alzheimer’s is one of the UK’s  biggest diseases, taking the lives of over 65,000 people in 2022.

England and the Football Association have done an amazing job with this campaign in helping raise awareness for such a devastating disease.
