In a festive spirit, the Italian Serie B side Cremonese, in collaboration with their supplier Acerbis, has released a special 23-24 Christmas kit. This football jersey is decorated with a unique tartan pattern in festive shades of red, black, and grey complemented by golden and white logos. Notably, the goalkeeper kit features a similar design with green as the primary colour and the pattern combining red, black, and white details.
However, what makes these kits truly special is their purpose beyond the pitch. In a commendable act of humanity, Cremonese and Acerbis have decided not to make these kits available for public purchase. Instead, the exclusive Christmas kits will be available on auctions, with all the funds raised being donated to the Thisability project. The minimum bidding price for match-worn shirts is set at €200.00, while match-issued shirts start at €150.00.
As Cremonese proudly dons their exclusive Christmas kits, the team is fuelled by a strong determination to reclaim a spot in Serie A. Last year’s relegation, finishing 19th in Serie A after their 2022/23 promotion, serves as motivation for their current challenge. Eager to secure another promotion and establish themselves in the top tier, the team is currently positioned in 5th place in Serie B. With the promising Felix Afena-Gyan, a €6 million transfer from Roma, leading the attack, along with the defensive ability of Charles Pickel and the centre forward David Okereke, Cremonese aims to bridge the 6-point gap with current league leaders, Parma.
