Coritiba, from the Brazilian city of Curitiba in Paraná, revealed a retro look for their 2017-18 home kit.
Coritiba are already the most successful club in the history of Campeonato Paranaense. That record seems set to continue as they won the first leg of this year’s final at Atlético Paranense by 3 – 0. The second leg is next weekend.
Last season they finished 15th in the Campeonato Brasiliero Serie A.
Coritiba 2017-18 Home Kit
The recently unveiled 2017-18 Coritiba home kit will debut in the opening game of the Serie A season against AC Goianiense on 16th May at Estádio Major Antônio Couto Pereira.
The white shirt is a standard Adidas template. Green trim in the form of the sleeve cuffs and Three Stripes across the shoulders.
It is however, in keeping with the club’s traditional look. Two green horizontal bands run across the chest, housing the club badge. It’s a design which is reminiscent of the shirt worn in the 1960s.
On the reverse of the shirt, underneath the white collar is a green panel with the club badge, alongside a plaintive motto of pride.
Black shorts with Adidas’ Three Stripes down either leg continue the familiar design. Finally, white socks complete the kit.
