Charlotte FC have come together with Adidas and global skating brand Black Sheep to release a brand new clothing range. The collaboration includes a unique jersey that has caught the eyes of football shirt fans all over the world.
Manufactured by German sporting giants Adidas, the Charlotte FC special jersey is primarily white with multiple shades of blue along with black applications on the collar and sleeves.
Taking strong inspiration from retro designs of the early 1990s, the limited-edition jersey features the club’s colours and also integrates unique topographical map-inspired line-work that is very similar to the design of Charlotte FC’s Carolina kit.
The shirt combines elements from both the Black Sheep and the club, featuring the skate brands logo on the front in black, complemented by Charlotte FC’s crest in full colour.
Adidas will sell the strip in the stores, but Charlotte will unfortunately not be wearing the jersey on the field.
Joining the MLS in 2022, Charlotte FC have finished 19th in the league during their first two campaigns. Now under the management of former Aston Villa coach Dean Smith, the club will be hopeful of playing in the MLS play-offs this season.
In other news, Cruzeiro have released their 2024 Adidas third kit.
