Brentford Reveal Their 2018/19 Away Kit by Adidas

There are so many football teams in London. That’s not a brag. Nor even an interesting fact. It’s simply an observation. Brentford FC are a team in Greater London and finished their season just behind Millwall, a team with a reputation for bad behaviour. While there wasn’t a time in the 2017/18 season that the club looked like they were in trouble, the fans that flock to Griffin Park each week will be wanting more. Perhaps they, like every other team in the Championship, will want promotion. Playing against Premier League titans is surely the dream. Brentford have released their away kit by Adidas. It looks a little bit like a chocolate bar. Like the orange Club biscuit that you’d take from your lunchbox each day. This isn’t a bad look, once again, it’s just an observation.

The jersey’s main colour is brown. It is the first time the club have chosen this colour in their 129-year history. The brown of the jersey matches the inside lettering of the club’s main sponsors: LeoVegas, a Swedish Online Casino company.

The Bees’ kit also features orange across the shoulders. This compliments the brown nicely and ensures that no garish colours feature. They have a dull colour and a bright one. Simple. The orange also features on the tapering of the shorts, which are also brown, and again on the tops of the socks. To complete the colouring, there’s a white horizontal strip across the chest.

On every Adidas kit, they have their iconic stripes. Usually it’s across the shoulders and up to the neck, however here Brentford have chosen them to run underneath the arms, as well as their breathable technology.

Brentford are a team that we’d love to see in the Premier League. Whether it’s this season they make it or not, they certainly have a bold, controversial kit for their travels this season.

*This kit is only controversial because it is brown*
