Botafogo released their three kits for the 2017 Campeonato Brasiliano and next year’s Campeonato Carioca.
A Estrela Solitária couldn’t match the efforts of their predecessors of 1907, finishing third in their group of this year’s competition.
Having finished fifth in the Brasiliero last season – their first following promotion from Serie B – Botafogo expectations will be for a higher finish this year and direct qualification to the Copa Libertadores.
Botafogo 2017 Home Kit
This is the 2017 home kit:
The club is pushing the 110th anniversary of the Campeonato Carioca win in 1907.
Next season’s home kit is the traditional black and white stripes. They are evenly spaced across the shirt body. Accompanying the design is a black collar and cuffs. The club’s black and white crest sits proudly on the left side of the chest.
Botafogo 2017 Away Kit
Botafogo will wear this 2017 away kit:
Another straightforward design, the all-white kit features black trim.
The v-neck collar incorporates a thin white band at the top. Leading from the collar is a thick black stripe across the shoulders and sleeves, down to the thick black cuffs.
Botafogo 2017 Third Kit
This is the 2017 third kit:
The kit uses a similar template to the away kit with a subtle change.
The collar on this shirt is more old-fashioned, more traditional football look. Colour-wise, the base of the shirt is grey with a similar black trim across the shoulders.
