Launched as a result of the new partnership with telecoms giant Huawei, the kit is instantly recognisable as belonging to Boca Juniors. The yellow band across the chest and back is as familiar as any tourist landmark in Buenos Aires.

The new partnership is evidenced by the logo on the sleeves with BBVA remaining the primary shirt sponsor, with their logo carried on the front and back of the shirt.

It is a deep navy blue in colour whilst the trim is yellow. In keeping with Nike’s favoured design, the collar is blue and in a curved v-shape. A yellow band sits inside the hem, and runs around the back of the neck, ending at the collarbone on each side at the front.

On the back of the collar, “CABJ” has been printed in yellow against the blue background. The shorts and socks will be both be blue.

But where Boca Juniors have hit the jackpot is, as we promised, the away kit…

With their national squad drawing many plaudits for their kits during this summer’s Copa America, the Ecuadorian capital will appreciate the beauty of Boca Juniors away kit.

Predominantly white, it feature a thick yellow band across the chest and back, sitting atop a deep navy blue one. The collar is of a similar design to the home shirt, this time with a blue band and the motif, “CABJ”, printed in blue.

Down the side of the shirt is a navy blue stripe, replicated on the side of each leg of the shorts.

It’s an astounding pair of kits but the away strip may just be this season’s winning entry.
