Bayer Leverkusen have debuted their brand new 125th anniversary kit. The Bundesliga champions wore the special strip in their 2-2 draw against Holstein Kiel.

Manufactured by sporting brand Castore, the Bayer Leverkusen 125th anniversary kit is predominantly black. Red applications are implemented on the polo collar and the sleeve cuffs of the strip. Yellow buttons have been included on the collar. The club have also decided to include their original badge on the shirt that was used between 1904-1907. Castore and club sponsor Barmenia have blacked out their logos to help give the strip a classic and old-school style.

Under the management of Xabi Alonso, Leverkusen will be hopeful they can retain their Bundesliga title this season while also having a strong campaign in the UEFA Champions League.
