Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio is spreading holiday joy with their 2023-24 Christmas kit, a creation by Joma. The black ensemble adorned with a tartan pattern is not just a fashion statement but a charitable endeavour.

Founded in 1907 by students of Liceo Classico Paolo Sarpi, Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio, commonly known as Atalanta, stands as a football team rooted in Bergamo, Lombardy, Italy. Promoted to Serie A in the 2010–11 season, the club, nicknamed La Dea and recognized for their classic blue-and-black striped kits, has solidified its presence as the ‘queen of the provincial clubs’ in Italian football, showcasing unwavering consistency across 62 seasons in Serie A.

On Atalanta’s 23-24 Xmas Kit, the tartan pattern adds a unique and eye-catching flair, distinguishing Atalanta’s Christmas kit as a standout, while keeping the traditional black and blue characteristics. Scheduled for its premiere on the pitch during the December 18th match against Salernitana, this holiday-themed kit is not only a celebration of the festive spirit but also a charitable endeavour. Additionally, the debut ‘Christmas Match’ details are printed on the left sleeve of the jersey, another nice feature which makes this one of the coolest Atalanta kits of the season.

It’s expected to be donned by Atalanta’s quality players, such as Charles De Ketelaere, Ademola Lookman and Marten de Roon.

Atalanta concluded the previous Serie A season, securing a 5th-place finish and reaching the quarterfinals of the Coppa Italia. However, the current season has presented its challenges, with Atalanta finding themselves in the 8th position, having 6 victories, after 14 matches in Serie A.
