Are These The Real Madrid 2017-18 Goalkeeper Kits?

The euphoria of their 12th Champions League win hasn’t subsided but Real Madrid are forging onward with their 2017-18 kit range. Leaked images of the home kit are joined by those to be worn by the goalkeepers next season.

Speculation about Kaylor Navas‘ future seems part and parcel of the summer landscape. His performances seem to have quelled the ardour for Manchester United’s David De Gea with Real looking to land Kylian Mbappe as their Galactico signing this summer.

The home shirt is green with white accents, in stark contrast to the outfield players traditional all-white kits. Adidas avoided using tonal graphic prints or self-indulgent patterns; it’s a straightforward, unfussy design.

Away from the Bernabeu, Navas will feature in another one-colour kit, this time deep peach or light terracotta, depending on the fancy name Adidas wants to give it. Again, it’s a plain shirt with Three Stripes in white across the shoulders.

On both, all logos and motifs are white while the badges are monochromatic against both backgrounds.

The designs make a pleasant change from the self-indulgent kits normally foisted on goalkeepers. No nonsense and straightforward; just how it should be.
