Manchester City went a long way to securing their 2017-18 Champions League spot with a 5 – 0 thrashing of Crystal Palace at the Etihad yesterday. The three points takes them above Liverpool into third place.
The Reds faced Southampton at Anfield, knowing that three points would see them almost certainly finish in the top four. However, a goalless draw means Arsenal can still catch Liverpool.
The official release has yet to happen but pictures surfaced of their home and away kits for next season.
Manchester City 2017-18 Home and Away Shirts
These shirts are claimed to be next season’s home and away shirts to be worn by Manchester City:
The home shirt is sky blue and comes with white shorts and socks; a traditional City look. Meanwhile, the away shirt is maroon, used on a number of occasions by the club in the past.
Both the shirts show a distinct move away from the darker hue of the sleeves and shoulders. Around the sides and back of the collar, both kits feature a band. On the home kit, this is white, the colour as the underarm panel. The away shirt features sky blue on the colour and underarm panel.
The away offers the prospect of a maroon shirt with the same colour shorts or a darker colour as a contrast.
