Albania, surprise qualifiers for last summer’s European Championships in France, unveiled new kits for 2017’s internationals.
The Kuq e Zinjtë (red and blacks) aren’t likely to repeat that success in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Drawn in the same group as Spain and Italy, they currently sit fourth behind the top seeds and Israel.
Albania 2017-18 Home Kit
This is the Albania 2017 – 18 home kit:
The red base colour of the shirt is accompanied by black trim and accents. A Nehru collar in black is paired with black cuffs.
The lower half of the front and back features gradiented diamonds, resembling the plummage of the eagle, the country’s national symbol. On the reverse, “Albania” is printed underneath the neck line.
Finishing the kit is black shorts and socks.
Albania 2017-18 Away and Third Kits
This the Albania 2017-18 away kit:
The shirt uses the same template as the home, replacing the red with white. The monochromatic badge of the Albanian FA is more defined in the white and black design than on the home shirt.
This time, the kit comes with plain white shorts. Both home and away kit come with black socks.
Keeping the designs simple, Macron supplied a black third kit.
The body is lighter black than the sleeves and side panels, accompanied by red trim. The gradiented diamonds come through stronger in this colour. The red eagle on a black background adds a dramatic touch to the badge.
Black shorts and red socks complete the kit.
