Ajax Sign New Historic Adidas Deal Until 2031

Ajax have signed a new eight-year deal with kit manufacturer Adidas in what will be a historic agreement for the club.

This brand new multi-year deal will see the Ajax and Adidas partnership reach the 30 year mark. Adidas and Ajax first joined arms in 2000 and in that time have created some of the most iconic football jerseys in history.

Ajax and Adidas Agree New Deal

Nick Craggs, General Manager Adidas Football spoke of his delight that the German manufacturing giants could come to a new agreement with Ajax.

“Ajax is a one of those partners that simply makes our football heart beat faster, with the club’s rich heritage deeply rooted in European football, the attacking playing style, its innovative approach to talent development and their stand-out marketing activations.

“We are honoured to be part of the club’s history for nearly 25 years, excited to extend this well beyond the club’s 125-year anniversary and can’t wait to share with Ajax fans around the world what we have in store for the club, on and off the pitch.”

Things aren’t so smooth sailing for Ajax on the pitch this season as they have found themselves stuck in the bottom end of the Eredivisie. The Amsterdam based club sacked coach Maurice Steijn after 11 games in charge. His replacement John van’t Schip has helped steady the ship but it looks like it will be a trophyless season for the legendary Dutch side.

With a new extension agreed with Adidas, Ajax will hope to be able to celebrate many future trophies wearing the famous three stripes.
